I am just trying to find out if anyone is allowed to join your live mintcast chat. I assume we can use quassel to join in. If anyone is allowed to join could you send me the server information?

Yes, anyone can join the mintCast chat. We use an IRC channel on “irc.spotchat.org” called #mintcast. I don’t know much (anything) about quassel, but I expect it would be fine.
